OFFICE KWINK
- The Hague
- Kwink Group
SOMETHING OLD, SOMETHING NEW, SOMETHING BORROWED, SOMETHING BLUE
The young and dynamic consultants of Kwink were growing out of their first official space and had rented a beautiful and posh new office space. Being a dynamic organization Kwink wanted to avoid that the new ‘posh’ office would communicate the wrong image of being a settled and conservative office.
In order to do that we introduced the same design strategy one uses when choosing a wedding dress. On the (supposed) most beautiful day of your life you feel most comfortable when you are wearing something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue.
In the new office of Kwink this is visible in the use of both old, new and vintage furniture. Important rooms are their own espresso bar with vintage Faema E61, the Ping-Pong / board room and the cigar room with carefully chosen mid-century vintage furniture.
In all rooms there is at least one work of art by Laura de Monchy, this can be a lamp, a vase or a wall piece. Together the office breaths an informal and open minded atmosphere.
